Tri polish Challenge Day 4

Hi
This post is a couple days late but it's still getting done. Last post for March Tri Polish Challenge. I decided to have another nude base with this mani. I like the effect and it's fun and easy.

I decided not to use the green and substituted with the white ( remember thats okay)

I hope everyone is enjoying their Easter weekend. Take care.
Next months colors are Pink, turquoise and orange... another Yikes!

Tri Polish Challenge Day 3

Hi All
Here is my third mani for the Tri-Polish Challenge. I must admit I regret picking such dark green, and light coral. When put together either one doesn't show or the other looks gross. So today I decided to exclude a base color and use my bare nails.

I like how this came out. I think it looks very clean and fresh. Also makes me crave skittles.

Tri Polish Challenge Day 2

Hi all
Here is my second design for the Tri Polish Challenge. As explained in the previous post, I am using the exact same polishes to create another look. What a great way to use polishes that haven't been used or are just lying around picking up dust.

Today I decided to spotlight coral. Not a big fan of corals but it's always nice to try something new. I didn't want to over power the coral with the other colors. I thought a water marble would be appropriate. I got lucky and got different tones of coral with out even trying :)

Once again These are my colors.
Nina Tangerine Dream, China Glaze Spontaneous, and Four Leaf Clover.

Stay tuned next week for the next designs..USING THE SAME NAIL POLISH!!!

Check out the other girls!

The Tri Polish Challenge

Hi All
Today is the first post of the Tri Polish Challenge Hosted by Debbie Crumpet.

Each month Crumpet's Nail Tarts will set 3 colours for the challenge.  You then choose 1 polish to represent each of those 3 colours.  You must stick to those same 3 polishes throughout the entire challenge.

The colors for this month are Coral, green and Purple. Talk about opposites and possible mud creation on the nails!
There will be four post (Tuesday and Thursday) of the 3rd and 4th week of the month.

Here is my Design

These are my colors for this month.
Nina Tangerine Dream, China Glaze Spontaneous, and Four Leaf Clover.

I got my inspiration from Wacky laki vintage nails. These design was very popular back in the day. It gave the appearance of longer nails. As you can see the tips are not painted. I decided not to use red for this design and try it out with my challenge.

What do you think? I hope this vintage style comes back because it's great!

Check out the other ladies!!!

Let It Snow Challenge Saint Patricks Day

Hi Guys
Happy Shamrock Day ;) I don't celebrate this holiday but I try to wear green so my immature friends don't find an excuse to pinch me (evil women) . Today theme is the last in the Let it Snow Challenge. This is the first group I joined and I am so happy to participate in a challenge with so many nice and talented women. I can't wait to continue with a new and mind mending challenge.

For this mani I did two marble methods, dry and water. I used three colors, Zoya Neely(mint), Shawn (dark green)and Purity(white).
I wanted to go for something discrete and simple and I think this is it.
Enjoy and have a great day!

Simple Flower Nails

Hi All,
Todays post is for my entry for Lydia's Nails Nail Art Contest. This design was super easy to make and only five different polishes where used. As I was looking through my stash I noticed that I always gravitate towards my Sally Hansen White On. It's not a strange thing to me because white is my favorite color ( it's a color right? or not :/) For my spring inspiration I chose flowers. Every time I go hiking I always look for a place that I know is filled with trees and flowers. I'm not really into flowers, but I do like daisies and looking at them isn't so bad. Last week I saw OZ the Great and Powerful and these flowers reminded me of some I saw. When people are staring at James Franko, Im starring at the scenery.

As my base I used Sally Hansen White on . For the flower I used Sally Hansen Mellow Yellow and China Glaze Passion for Petals. The stems are made with Zoya Shawn and Revlon Sassy. I like my little bud on my pointer, its my favorite.

Close up of my flowers. I don't know what they are but they are cute!

I don't know about you but I am counting down the days till spring!
Enjoy!

Nails Inc and leopard print nail art

Hi guys
Today I have a simple mani I made for a wedding I went to on Friday night. I love this mani because I got to use many elements from expensive (Nails Inc) to bargain ( Sally Hansen)

The wear of Nails Inc Noho is amazing! These pictures are of day three and as you can see no chips and slight wear on the edges. For the print I used Sally Hansen Get money as my base and used my konad plate for the leopard print.

I wore this with a bright coral/pink dress and I loved it. What do you think? Is this party perfect?

Let It Snow Challenge Longing for Summer

Hi guys
Today was a very nice day in California, or so I heard, I spent countless hours doing school stuff and having my brain blow up multiple time. Any way this weeks theme is longing for summer, and yes I am! I cant wait for hikes and the beach.. woohoo!

I used Tart-y for the Party along as my base along with four other shades from the China Glaze Avant Garden Collection. I don't care to much for purple but pastel purple is slowly starting to grow on me.
Flowers where made using a dotting tool and the following colors
Life is rosy: pink
Fancy Pants: dark purple/blue
Fade into hue: periwinkle creme
Passion for Petals:red pink

Hope you enjoy this lovely change in weather and time!

Stripes with China Glaze Avant Garden Polish

Hi guys
Here is my second nail using my new polishes from China Glaze Avant Garden Collection. This design is very different from my first post. In fact this design is very different from anything I've done before. I have to admit that when it comes to nail designs.. here it goes... I'm very girly, I love hearts and flowers and sparkle and all those yummy girly things. Even though its different I still like it.

For this look I used China Glaze Fancy Pants as my base, it a blue/purple with slight pink shimmer. For the bold lines I used Tart-y for the Party a nice pastel lilac. For my accent finger I used the previous colors along with Life is Rosy, Passion for petals, and Fade into Hue.
I used my trusty nail tape for this. I do have to admit my tape skills are improving since the first time I took the tape dive.

As my top coat I used Sally Hansen Mega Shine topcoat. It lasted 3 days with out any chips.

So what your favorite color so far? This is only my second nail art mani and I think a pastel will have the spotlight next!
Enjoy!

Haute Couture nails using Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear

Hi all
Today I am showing you my entry for Sally Hansen I heart nail art contest. This months theme is inspiration from the runway. I googles haute couture, and got a lot of hits, mostly bright colors and a lot of sequins. I finally ended up with a dress that had a lot of lines and was different from everything else I was looking at. After I chose my picture I needed to bring out my nail tape ( oh oh !) BUT!!!!!!I'm really proud of this mani !  I have to face it... I'm not very skilled at tape manis and this mani needed crisp lines which my art brush could not accomplish. Fortunately with the mercy of the nail polish gods, my lines came out super clean Yeay!
For this look I used Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear in Mellow Yellow, The grey is Zoya Carey and The black is Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear in Black out. I topped it all off with a coat of Seche vite. For my lines I used nail art tape. I have to say that the best tape I use is the white nail art tape. it doesn't bleed when it is painted over ( my red, blue, pink and green tape bleed :/) . I also waited about 10 minutes for the yellow and grey base coat to dry before adding tape. Hey this is for a competition so you know I had to be patient.

This is my inspiration Armani Prive 2013, I wouldn't mind owning this dress.

I love this mani, like I said in my information for this mani, yellow is a strong color but I think I successfully tones it down.

The art contest will be judged on many categories, photography, Creativity and originality, and use of Sally Hansen products and public vote. So if you would like to vote for me click here , my entry is under my name @Bibian Bard.
Thanks for reading enjoy!

Let It snow Challenge Winter Blues

Hi All,

Well today I definitely took this theme literally. This week is winter blues, and the last of our winter blues, because there is no more winter nails! YEAY. It's funny how my nails are in no way winter related except for the blue and white!

For this I used Sally Hansen White on and China Glaze Transitions in Modify me.
