Let It snow Challenge Winter Blues
Hi All,
Well today I definitely took this theme literally. This week is winter blues, and the last of our winter blues, because there is no more winter nails! YEAY. It's funny how my nails are in no way winter related except for the blue and white!
For this I used Sally Hansen White on and China Glaze Transitions in Modify me.

Let it Snow Challenge Winter Ombre/Gradient
Hi
This weeks them is Winter Ombre/Gradient... Here at the Nail Challenge Collaboration we are almost done with our challenge and getting ready for a new one so stay tuned. I do a lot of gradients in my art because they are simple and easy. For this I wanted to use My KB shimmer Hex Appeal, with white bottom.

This reminds me of a winter night with a snowy bottom. Hex Appeal is a great color for this effect. The dark blue creates a great opposite to the bright white, and the glitters that float in the blue make it look like a starry night.
All this winter art is giving me the winter blues...but wait that's next weeks mani!
Enjoy!

Flowers using LynBDesigns nail polish
Hi Everyone
So today I have a swatch and nail art. I recently purchased some nail polish from LynBDesigns. I say a review on Sacre Blurple and I had to get it. I love jelly polishes and my mission is to have one in every color. They are so beautiful and have so many qualities under different lights. Sacre Blurple is no exception. Keep reading for sale at end.
This color is a deep blue/ purple polish. I got it opaque in two coats yet some might need three. I love this color it is so rich and deep.

As you can see it really makes the white art really pop out. I made the flowers using my dotting tool and Sally Hansen White on. I like using my dotting tool for nail art more then a brush because I have better control of what I am doing. On my accent finger I used glequins from Born pretty store.
This blue is one of my favorites.
You can purchase this polish on LynBDesings on etsy store. Right now there is a sale of 50% of for the next week.
Also you can like LynBdesings on Facebook. She's been having a lot of cool giveaways so tune in.
Thanks for reading!

Let it snow Challenge Winter wonderland
Hi
I dont know about you guys but Im sick of being cold. I live in California and I am tired of nice days here and freakishly cold day the next. For this post I really wasn't to inspired but when I think of winter wonderland I think of dark blue and white everywhere, so here it is.
I used OPI Swimsuit.. Nailed it and Zoya Ginessa . To mix the two colors I used the fan brush method. Super easy method to create nice mixture of color.

Crumpet 31 Day Challenge Day 31 Recreate someone else's mani
Hi
Today is the last day of the challenge, all I can say is phew! This was my first big challenge and it was really hard to make one mani a day and, ow no, take it off the next day. Not all my manis where excellent but there sure where some that I wanted to keep for a day or two. The last challenge is recreate someone else's from the challenge and I of course, to no surprise, am recreating Alexis from Glitter tips Day 8 duochrome. You can find the original post here.
I dont have any duochrome so I decided to just do chrome. This is what I used

For index and pinky: base Sally Hansen Co-bolt Blue followed with a gradient of Wet n wild Buffy the Violet slayer, and the tips are Essie good as gold.
For the rest: OPI My boyfriend scales walls. I made the tips using the colors I used on my chrome fingers. The black used is Wet n wild Ebony hates Chris, which is not very good for dotting, I waited ten minutes before adding my top coat and it still smeared :/
Well guys what do you think did I nail it or what!
The great thing about this is
I GET TO WEAR IT FOR MORE THEN 24 HOURS YEAY!
Enjoy!
Thank you Debbie Crumpet for setting this up!

Let it Snow Challenge Snow Men
Hi all,
This weeks inspiration for the Challenge is Snowmen. I live in California where there is no snow, and if I want snow I have to drive four hours to lake Tahoe on a good year and find some snow. I have tried to make an snowman many times and I am proud to say that every try was a FAIL!. I wish my real snowmen came out like the ones on my nails.

My cute little snowmen with different colored hats, I think the one on my pointer finger looks like and alien.
This is what I used
As my base : Three coats of OPI Dating Royal
Snowmen: Maybelline Porcelan party, I used a sponge and sponged them on.
Hats: Zoya Quinn, Zoya Robyn, Wet and wild Ebony Hates Chris, Zoya Pinta, Essie Turquoise and caicos.

Crumpet 31 Day Challenge Day 22 Inspired by a Fabric
Hi All
I cant believe I am actually on track with all these nail creations. It's shown me how much I can do with my nail art besides a couple dots here and there. Todays challenge is one which does not require my brain to work a lot. Inspiration from a fabric is the theme for today. When I saw this I ran to my favorite shirt this winter. My mother gave me this shirt and I absolutely love it, and the pattern is simple and nice. Today I used it as my back round.
For this look I used my new Transitions polish from China Glaze. I don't have a dark blue polish and I was really bummed, but then I remember I had this polish year!. For the dots I used Zoya Rekha, Helen, and purity. For the "buttons" I used Essie good as gold and I used some black rhinestones from the born pretty store.
I should have worn this shirt when I had this mani, but it was way to cold to wear such a sheer shirt. NEXT TIME!
Enjoy

Crumptet 31 Day Challenge Day 19 Texture
Hi All,
So today is Day 19 of the challenge and it's time for texture. I don't really have a lot of textured things to apply to my nails, but recently I purchased little round balls from Sally Beauty supply for my nails. I was a little hesitant to do this today because I went on a 6 hour hike the day before. I love hiking and I was excited to wear such a nice mani for a big long hike but I did. Every thing went well, no chips or breakage. The only problem was that bit by bit, the balls slowly fell off till there where none. Its okay though the beautiful scenery made up for it.
For this look I used Essie snakeskin snake it up. I don't know why but I cant seem to get this polish to work for me. I tried 3 times to make the effect and this is the best I could get (tear!) I purchased Ssssexy and I have the same issue. I am magnetic polish impaired. To my middle finger I applied a thick coat of Seche Vite topcoat. Next time I will try glue. The polish is so beautiful and the blue is so deep. I think Im going to do what I do with my other magnetics, I grab a regular magnet and then do the same effect but instead of making a pattern, all the metal goes to one side and the regular polish is dominant.
The dots are great and are small enough for me to forget they are there. I tend to be very aware of what is on my body ( perhaps thats why I can't wear contacts )
Enjoy
Please check the rest!

Crumpet 31 Day Challenge Day18 Old Untried
Hi All,
Day 18 is Old Untried. I took this as, go into your stash and find something you've had forever and never put on your nails. Turns out I have a bunch of those (yikes!) so here they are, used and loved.

For this I used Sally Hensen Co-Bolt Blue as the base, and added Essie Blue Rhapsody and a gradient. I don't know why I had not used these before they are absolutely gorgeous. The dark chrome of Co-Bolt Blue contrasts so well to the light of Blue Rhapsody. Definitely eye popping.
This is a great mani, Im definitely wearing this on a night out with the girls.
Enjoy

Crumpter 31 Day Challenge Day 10 Geometric
Hi All,
Well this was a real difficult one for me. It was one of those days where nothing came out right. I did this twice and the first time I did it it came out perfect, not until I went to clean my nails and by accident I nicked 3 nails. This is my second try at my geometric nails and it looks okay.
For this look I used 2 coats of Zoya Robyn as the base. I made freehanded triangles with Zoya Raven. For the cross I used my brand new Zoya Wednesday that came in the mail today !
Please check out the other ladies.

I hope you guys enjoy. I have to add that the first mani I did was very different and very nice. Too bad I got mad when I ruined it and took it off before I could take pictures.
