Let it Snow Challenge Winter Ombre/Gradient

Hi
This weeks them is Winter Ombre/Gradient... Here at the Nail Challenge Collaboration we are almost done with our challenge and getting ready for a new one so stay tuned. I do a lot of gradients in my art because they are simple and easy. For this I wanted to use My KB shimmer Hex Appeal, with white bottom.

This reminds me of a winter night with a snowy bottom. Hex Appeal is a great color for this effect. The dark blue creates a great opposite to the bright white, and the glitters that float in the blue make it look like a starry night.

All this winter art is giving me the winter blues...but wait that's next weeks mani!
Enjoy!

Pokemon Challenge Fire Pokemon

Hi
Quick post today, my mom has been super sick and I have been doing everything in  the house so I'm trying to get all this and nails done. This week is fire Pokemon, as a result, I choose Torchic, a cure little fire chick who I'm sure is as tough as he is cute.
 Base: OPI Suzi loves cowboys
Glitter Gradient: KB shimmer Wrappers Delight , a color made for Christmas, but I thought it would be nice to use it for  a nice background to this cure little guy.
Enjoy!

Crumpet 31 Day Challenge Day 19 Favorite Polish

Hi All
Today I will be showing you my favorite nail polish. I am a sucker for white crellies with glitter in them. I have a couple and still want more. There is one that is among the best for me. It beats any polish I have. It so beautiful and doesn't really need anything else to make it perfect. Layering makes it more opaque and adds more color.
KB shimmer oh slat! This was the first polish I had purchased from KB shimmer and it isn't the last. As you can see the polish is filled with different colored hexes and micro glitter as well. The white base as a special effect by making some of the hexes matt while others maintain their shimmer, absolutely lovely.

I hope your polish is as special as mine.
Enjoy

KB Shimmer New Year Mani!

Hey
So once again I am talking about KB Shimmer. I have seen the reviews by other bloggers and I agree with them all, its a great product. I'm still making my festive creations for this time of year and this mani reminds me of sugar cookies, and I love sugar cookies! Today is my grandmothers birthday and I will be making her some goodies so this fits in with my sweet fingers LOL
For this look I used KB shimmer" Oh splat" it a milky white with different colored hexes and small specs of circular glitter. It reminds me of birthday cake with sprinkles on top. For the stars I used "Hex appeal" A eautiful blue with shimmery purple and silver hexes. A perfect compliment to the white of "oh splat".
I started with two coats of "oh splat" and let them dry completely. I also used one coat of  Seche Vite to hurry the process.

I used scotch tape and and a star stamper to make the star shape. I put the scotch tape on top of wax paper for easy removal.

After placing the star on any part of my nail, I added to coats of Hex appeal making sure that all the glitter stayed on my nail and not the tape.

This looks great next to a our snowflake ornament.
I simply love "oh splat" its a color I can wear anytime and feel very girly and pretty. The stars added a little pop to it. I've been wearing it for 2 days and no chips.

 Thanks and Enjoy!
HAPPY NEW YEAR 2013

A KB Shimmer sky!

Hey
So today I decided to use my some one of my new polishes from KB shimmer. I have many polishes KB shimmer but this has to be my favorite one. I decided on this look because lately is been raining a lot and I miss the summer nights when I would look up and see the bright stars. Now all I see is dark clouds. This polish helps me remember that in six more months, baseball season starts and more starry night will come.
Polishes can be found at their store KB shimmer and find some other great hand made polishes.
Alright so here it is!
I used two coats of the polish followed by stars that I stamped with Konad plate M84. I like how it came out . The silver hexes in the polish make the stars pop out more and make it look like your looking at a bright blue night with shooting stars :)
For this look I used  KB shimmers "HEX APPEAL" as the base polish and used my stamping plate with Essie "nothing else matters" a metallic light lavender with a lot of shine. I topped the whole look with two layers of Seche Vite. Enjoy!
